READ THROUGH: June 15, place and time to be determined.

Be prepared to:

  • Read aloud from the script

  • Repeat some simple dance steps

  • Sing 16 bars from one of these two songs

The plot: A young boy takes refuge in the Carleton Place Museum and he finds a magical archive where every item, when touched, brings history to life. He meets an Indigenous warrior, a historian, and the museum curator. They teach the boy about our past and present; how the threads of love, time, death, sacrifice and community weave together to create a beautiful tapestry.

  • Celtic/Highland dancers | 6 girls or young women

Supporting roles (each actor will play several roles)

Roles include: Pioneers, lumberjacks, immigrants, historical persons and more!
